Is there a particular comic you think would make for an interesting post here at A Comicbook Philosopher? Maybe you have a favorite philosopher you’d like me to talk about, or you think the work of philosopher X is particularly visible in a book, comic, game etc.. Feel free to send suggestions my way. I will warn you that while I am fairly well versed in the work of various philosophers I freely admit I don’t have an encyclopedic knowledge of all things philosophy. So depending on what you suggest I might not have anything to say, though if the suggestion is interesting enough I might be willing to go find out more.
If you’re a writer, artist etc. who would like to see your work reviewed on my humble little corner of the web, I might be willing to take a look at it. However, before you broach that subject bear in mind that I will tell both you, and anyone who happens to read this blog, what I think. Just to make sure that point is clear I’m going to put it in bold letters; if you ask me to take a look at your work, and I think it’s crap, I’m going to say that I think it’s crap. You won’t get a free pass because it’s indie work and indie work needs supported, because you’re an artist local to my area, because you’re my best buddy, or for any other reason. A similar policy is in place for links. If I like it and think it’s worth reading I’ll link it. If I don’t like it, no link.
Finally, a brief note on hate mail. If you don’t like me, don’t like what I’m doing, or are just an asshole, you’re free to send me hate mail. However, I reserve the right to hold any communication of that sort and/or you personally up to public ridicule. So unless you’re willing to have the rabid dribbling of your diseased brain posted publicly, you might want to think twice before hitting the send button.
